✔ Multicolor embroidery of bugs and plants — every pair is unique ✔ Designed by Iria González — wearable art for your feet ✔ Breathable ecological ultrasuede — light and comfortable all day long ✔ Pointed toe that elongates the foot and leg ✔ Made in Spain in small productions
Bolboreta means butterfly in Galician.
Iria González designed these flats inspired by nature — little bugs, leaves and flowers embroidered in multicolor thread on black. Pink, green, gold, brown — the result is a shoe where no two pairs are exactly alike. Perfectly imperfect, like everything worth having.
With a pointed toe that elongates the leg and ecological ultrasuede that feels comfortable from the very first wear, these are the flats you reach for when you want your look to speak for itself.
Made in small batches in Spain. Because art is meant to be worn.
Most customers take their usual size. Between sizes? Choose the larger one for extra comfort.

These are extremely beautiful shoes but they proved themselves to be very VERY uncomfortable on their first outing. I brought them to a conference with me, putting them on in the morning and walking about ten minutes in cool weather (I am in the Southern hemisphere for the conference so it is winter here!). By the time I got to the conference, ten minutes later, my feet were killing me. I had a blister emerging on the toes of my right foot and a blister emerging on my left heel. They were so painful, I decided to cushion my feet with toilet paper and then walk back to the hotel during the morning break so that I could change into another pair of shoes (much less suitable for a conference but far more comfortable!). By the time I got to the hotel, the blisters had become bad. I am quite disappointed in how uncomfortable these shoes are, given the amount of money I spent on them and the other positive reviews about the shoes being comfortable.
Dear Laura,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience in such detail — we are truly sorry. What you went through sounds genuinely painful, and that is never what we want for anyone wearing MOMOC shoes.
We'd love to understand what happened and find a solution for you. Could you let us know which size you are wearing? Very occasionally, a slightly different size can make all the difference in how a shoe sits on the foot — and we want to make sure yours fits you perfectly.
Whatever the cause, we don't want you to be left with a pair that caused you pain. Please reply to this email and we'll take care of you.
We hope your conference was a success despite everything.
