Both pairs were made to order and crafted by hand in Spain. Our standard process is to wait until both pairs are ready before shipping them together. In your case, we made an exception and sent the first pair ahead of time — in good faith — so you wouldn't have to wait. The second pair was shipped as soon as it was ready, just a few days after the 8-week window indicated on our product pages.

We are sorry the experience didn't feel right to you. We genuinely did our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible, going beyond our usual process to do so.

The shoes are loose. And because I waited for them for 2 months, I didn't want to send them back and wait another 2 months for a new pair...So I kept them..

We are sorry to hear they feel a little loose — and we completely understand why you didn't want to go through another wait. But we wish you had reached out to us first! We always produce more than one pair of each model precisely for situations like this, so a size down would very likely have been available straight away — no extra waiting.

It's always worth writing to us before deciding to keep a pair that doesn't fit perfectly. We do our best to find a quick solution.

In the meantime, if you'd like to try making them work: many of our customers who are between sizes find that a half insole makes a big difference — they say the shoes feel much more comfortable and secure. It might be worth a try!
