Angela Mallo tells us her story:

An ode to delicious pomegranates. It's a fruit that reminds me so much of my mother. I remember how, when we were little girls, my sister and I would spend the afternoon with my mother scooping out all the pomegranates, which we would then eat by the spoonful. Its flavor, its freshness, its sweetness—it's a fruit that takes me back to my childhood every time I eat it.
